She's started exploring. Cords, apparently, are her new favorite thing, and I am constantly trying to hide them, get them off the floor, and pull her away from them. Of course, she's also figured out where we keep her toys, and she has all sorts of fun pulling the little boxes off the shelf and pulling all her toys out of them. So much fun! She wanders into the kitchen, and under the keyboard, and tries to pull garbages over on her. So, yes, I am spending more of my time chasing around a little girl, but she's growing and loving it, so I can't complain too much. :)
In the meantime... we've made another offer on a house! We found one in Highland that is in our price range (mostly) and that will be worth a lot more in a few years with a little work. Right now it has 3 bedrooms, a decent kitchen/dining room, a cute living room with a real fireplace, one bathroom, and an unfinished basement with the workings for a laundry room, living room, storage area, and 2-3 more bedrooms. It also has a 2-car carport and a large yard that has been completely overrun by fruit trees. The first floor has been completely redone with new paint, flooring, and counters. It's still in need of a refrigerator, but that's workable. It's move-in ready, and provides the opportunity for much work, which I want. Anyway, we should know in a few days whether or not we'll be moving in two weeks. Yay!

Awesome news about the house! I hope it works out if it's right for you.
Babies are somehow magically attracted to cords. When Nivek started crawling and scooting (about 14-15 months) I put him in the living room, which has a baby fence around it, and is pretty much baby proof. I looked in a few minutes later, and he had scooted all the way to the corner and pulled out the extension cord from behind the couch! Of course, he was also chewing on it. He was so sad when I took it away.
WV: torci--the plural of torso? or what my belly looks like now that it is big enough to be two bellies?
